TWN03: Stowage Nets (Set of 2)

These cargo nets are typical of those seen on a variety of military vehicles; they are prominent in photos of the Indian Pattern Wheeled Carrier in service. The nets are 100% cotton. While the net is pre-stained for a more realistic appearance, you may wish to further weather the net before installation. One effective method is to immerse the net in thin tempera paint, brewed coffee, or soya sauce until the thread is stained to the desired colour. You may simulate wear in the net by carefully cutting individual strings with the tip of a sharp knife blade - be careful, though! A coating of thinned white glue will help to hold the shape of the net and eliminate the “frizzies” if you wish.
